An update on our response to the pandemic.
DataCore is Here to Support You As We All Do Our Part to Help Contain the COVID-19 Virus
As the COVID-19 pandemic situation continues to evolve, please be assured that DataCore is closely monitoring the situation and that we have taken significant steps to exercise our responsibility to our employees, clients and the community at large.
Keeping Your Mail Moving
Our goal is to protect the health and safety of our employees so that we have as full a team as possible to serve our clients’ mail management needs, including the ability to take on mailing programs that are urgent in nature.
We are consistently communicating with our staff, emphasizing the importance of taking personal responsibility to reduce risk and then supporting them in their efforts.
We are following guidelines and advice from the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), which is the Government of Canada’s lead for COVID-19, ensuring a consistent schedule of diligent procedures for sanitization and disinfecting.
We have restricted any travel or attendance at outside events by staff. We are minimizing visits to our premises and follow social distancing guidelines for the very few visitors who must enter our premises.
We are also implementing split shifts in our processing & warehouse facility to reduce the number of staff in the building at any given time. Further, half of our office & programming staff will be working from home.
Taken together, we believe all these steps will work to minimize risk & exposure. We are a small company, so we can be in constant touch with each other, reminding each other of our responsibilities and immediately bringing up any issues or concerns.
Please also take note that should at any point our company’s ability to conduct our work be seriously compromised, we will enact our Business Continuity Plan, which would involve migrating work to pre-arranged back-up facilities in other jurisdictions.
We also wish to mention that, as Canada Post Corporation has stated, when it comes to items in the mail, PHAC and the World Health Organization (WHO) continue to state that there is a very low to zero risk regarding incoming mail items.
This means that our clients, and all users of direct mail, should not hesitate at all to continue with their mailings. In fact, we suggest that it is more important than ever in order to both support business as well as to provide customers and prospects with important information on a timely basis.
DataCore is here to help and serve our clients as they, and we, continue to adjust to the effects of this pandemic on all of us. Please do not hesitate to call upon us.
Thank you,
Karly Black, President & Owner
